Karan Johar will be completing 25 years as a filmmaker in 2023. It is going to be a special year for him as he gears up for the release of his directorial comeback, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, on July 28. Interestingly, Karan celebrates his birthday on May 25.
As the countdown for his birthday begins, Dharma Productions shared a series of unseen behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of his films. One of them was taken while Karan was shooting Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with Shah Rukh Khan. In the picture, the director can be seen holding a basketball while discussing a scene with the superstar.
Sharing the picture on his Instagram stories, Karan remembered, "As if I knew anything about basketball... I kept calling it a 'goal' till bhai took over and told me never to set foot on the court!!!"
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was Karan's directorial debut.
