Abhishek Bachchan was left spellbound by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's performance in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2 which released in theatres on April 28. Calling her portrayal of Nandini her 'best by far', he showered love and admiration on the entire team.

The Ponniyin Selvan franchise marked Aishwarya's return to the big screen after 4 years. She reunited with Mani Ratnam after Raavan (2010).
