Alia Bhatt, under the name of her production house, Eternal Sunshine Production Pvt Ltd, has reportedly purchased an apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. According to reports, the new property is situated in Pali Hill. As per a portal's report, the cost of the 2,497 sq ft apartment is Rs 37.80 crores. The deal is said to be done on April 10.

The report stated that Alia paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.26 crores. On the other hand, it was reported that the actress gifted two apartments worth Rs 7.68 crores in Mumbai to her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt. Reportedly, the total area of the flats is 2,086.75 sq ft, and is located in Juhu. A stamp duty of Rs 30.75 lacs was reportedly paid. 

Alia announced the launch of Eternal Sunshine Productions in 2019. In March 2021, she unveiled the official logo of the company. The first film to be produced under the banner was Darlings which released in August 2022.
