Telugu actor Sreenivas Bellamkonda showcases his physical transformation in the first look poster of his Bollywood debut Chatrapathi

The first look poster of Chatrapathi is now out. The film serves as the Bollywood debut of Telugu actor Sreenivas Bellamkonda. It is the remake of the 2005 Telugu film directed by SS Rajamouli that starred Prabhas in the lead. The Hindi remake is being directed by VV Vinayak.

Bellamkonda Srinivas shared the poster on social media today with the words, “The wait is over #Chatrapathi in cinemas on 12th May, 2023. Cannot wait to show you all our hardwork & this action-packed dhamaka. Written by the one and only #VijayendraPrasad, directed by #VVVinayak. @Penmovies #Bss9.”

The poster does not show Sreenivas’ face but we get to see him flexing his muscles and showing his physical transformation. Chatrapathi also stars Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, among others.

Chatrapathi is all set to release on May 12 in theatres. It is bankrolled by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. The script has been written by SS Rajamouli’s father, V Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the original. The 2005 original film was remade in Bengali as Refugee n 2006 and a Kannada remake of the same name.
