Rani Mukerji’s Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway to release in theatres in Israel; actress’ first film to hit screens in the country since 1998’s Ghulam

Rani Mukerji is on a roll. Her last release Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway is reaping accolades critically as well as commercially. The actress, who plays a single mother and battles an entire nation who takes away her children in foster care has put in an impeccable performance. Now, the film is all set to release in Israel. It will be Rani’s first film to release in the country since Ghulam that hit theatres in 1998.

Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway has garnered tremendous response from the international markets and hence the film will be releasing in Israel on March 23.

The film brings to life the inspiring tale of Sagarika Chakraborty who fought tooth-and-nail against the Norway government to get back her kids. The film is directed by Ashhima Chibber and is produced by Madhu Bhojwani, Monisha Advani and Nikkhil Advani. It also stars Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya.
