The 95th Academy Awards was held in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 12. Indian projects like All That Breathes (Documentary Feature Film category), The Elephant Whisperers (Best Documentary Short Film) and RRR (Best Original Song) were nominated for Oscars 2023.
During the ceremony, it was announced that Shaunak Sen's All That Breathes lost the Best Documentary Feature Film award to Daniel Roher's Navalny. It competed for the trophy against documentaries like All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, Fire of Love and A House Made of Splinters.
All That Breathes is about two Muslim brothers who live in Delhi, and have made it their life’s sole goal and motive to save a dying breed of birds, black kites, who have been dying due to the toxic environment.
