Nushrratt Bharuccha's 2021 film Chhorii is getting a sequel. Titled Chhorii 2, the makers have roped in new characters to take the story forward. The new additions to the film are Soha Ali Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. Now, the team wrapped up the shoot of the film.
While announcing the wrap of Chhorii's sequel, the makers unveiled Nushrratt and Soha's first looks from the film. The former returns as Sakshi whereas details regarding the latter's character are kept under tight wraps.
Chhorii premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021 and the sequel will pick up from where it left off in the original. Many new characters will be introduced in the supernatural thriller. The first film was a remake of the Marathi film titled Lapachappi.
Vishal Furia returns to the director’s seat in the sequel which is produced by T-Series, Crypt TV and Abundantia Entertainment. Apart from Nushrratt, Soha and Gashmeer, the film also stars Pallavi Patil and Saurabh Goyal.
Chhorii 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series Films. An Abundantia Entertainment and Psych production, it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Jack Davis and Vikram Malhotra and directed by Vishal Furia.
