With the release of Pathaan, Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe got a new, hot antagonist in John Abraham. The film headlined by Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John took forward the spyverse started by Salman Khan with the Tiger franchise followed by Hrithik Roshan's War. While Hrithik didn't make a cameo in Pathaan, the name of his character Kabir was mentioned a couple of times, keeping the possibility of a crossover film alive.
Amid Pathaan's blockbuster run at the box office, a viral tweet made fans believe that 'Jim' John and 'Kabir' Hrithik have a connection beyond the spyverse. Recently, a picture featuring young John and Hrithik from their school days went viral on Twitter. The actors studied at Bombay Scottish School. As soon as the picture caught attention, netizens demanded a spin-off with Jim and Kabir. Is Siddharth Anand listening?

War 2 with Hrithik is on the cards as confirmed by director Siddharth. However, the film will reportedly go on floors only after Fighter, starring Hrithik and Deepika, wraps up. At a recent event, Siddharth hinted at Pathaan 2.
Workwise, John will be seen in films like Tehran and Tariq. Hrithik has Fighter, War 2 and Krrish 4 in the pipeline.
