It's official! Athiya Shetty, a popular Bollywood actress, got married to Indian cricketer KL Rahul at her Khandala farmhouse today. The rituals took place around 4.30 pm this afternoon. The ceremony was an intimate affair with family members and close friends in attendance.
After a long wait, Athiya shared pictures from the wedding with Rahul on Instagram. Dressed in a pastel lehenga, the actress looked resplendent. Her caption read, "“In your light, I learn how to love…” ♥ Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness."
After the wedding, Athiya's father Suniel Shetty and her brother Ahan Shetty stepped out to greet the paparazzi and distributed sweets. The bride's father confirmed that their reception will be held after this year's IPL wherein Rahul is heading a cricket team.
