Shah Rukh Khan has kickstarted the promotion of his upcoming film Pathaan. There was no platform better than the FIFA World Cup 2022 to do so! On Sunday, the superstar was in Qatar for his film's promotion and shared the stage with Wayne Rooney. 

Shah Rukh appeared with the legendary football player on a live show during the final match between Lionel Messi-led Argentina and Hugo Lloris-led France. During the conversation with him, the superstar taught Wayne his signature open-arms pose.

While Shah Rukh was doing the live show and promoting Pathaan, his co-star Deepika Padukone unveiled the prestigious Jules Rimet Trophy with FIFA legend and former Spanish Professional Footballer, Iker Casillas Fernandez.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, will release in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023. The film also stars John Abraham.
