Aasmaan Bhardwaj is making his directorial debut with the upcoming film titled Kuttey. Headlined by Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan and Shardul Bhardwaj, the film will release in theatres on January 13, 2023. With just a month left for its release, the makers dropped in the first motion poster.
In the motion poster, Arjun's voiceover said, "Goliyan sar pe maarde, matter khatam." He plays the role of a cop. Tabu, also a cop, said, "Sher bhookha ho toh kya zeher khalega?" Naseeruddin delivered an intense dialogue in the poster. He said, "Muh maanga daam dunga use udaane ka." Konkona, a Naxalite, remarked, "Bakri hum, kutta tu, aur sher tera maalik." Radhika Madan, who seems to play the role of a college student, said, "Tere saath jeena hai, mere saath marr na bro?" Kumud Mishra, holding a rifle, added, "Phaapda, undi aur thepla khila khila ke oil and natural gas mein toilet khol diya hai peth mein. Ise toh main udaunga."

Sharing the motion poster, Aasmaan wrote, "1 Haddi aur 7 Kuttey! Let the bhasad begin (sic)" For the unversed, Aasmaan is Vishal Bhardwaj and Rekha Bhardwaj's son.
Kuttey is produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The film’s music will be scored by Vishal Bhardwaj with lyrics penned by Gulzar.
