Love is in the air for Hansika Motwani. The actress, on Sunday, tied the knot with her fiancé Sohael Khaturiya. She got married to the business at Jaipur's Mundota Fort and Palace. Hansika and Sohael had a traditional big fat Indian wedding in the presence of family members and close friends.
Hansika wore a red lehenga for the wedding and teamed it up with a multi-layered necklace, statement earring, a nath, a maang tika and kaleeras. Groom Sohael was dressed in an ivory sherwani.
During the varmala ceremony, fireworks enthralled the couple and guests. Reportedly, Hansika and Sohael tied the knot according to Sindhi rituals. The bride walked up to the mandap under a floral canopy or phoolon ki chaadar.
Hansika’s pre-wedding started with Mata Ki Chowki on November 22. The ritual took place in Mumbai. The actress then had her bachelorette party with her friends in Greece in the last week of November.
Pictures and videos from Hansika’s Mehendi, Sufi Night, Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies went viral on social media. The actress looked stunning and regal at every pre-wedding ceremony.
Hansika, who maintained a low profile on the personal front, confirmed her relationship with Sohael on November 2. She shared pictures of his dreamy proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower. Reportedly, Hansika and Sohael have sold their wedding rights to Disney+Hotstar.
