Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a new member into their family today. The actress gave birth to a baby girl at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre this morning. Soon after the news broke out, congratulatory messages from celebrities poured in. The Kapoors and Bhatts shared the news on social media and showered love on the new parents in town.
Karan Johar, who is Alia's mentor and a father-figure, wrote, "My heart is full of love…. Welcome to the world baby girl… you have so much love waiting for you….. I love you @aliaabhatt and RK!! To the moon and back!!!! So this makes me a proud Nana!!!!"
'Dadi' Neetu Kapoor gave her blessings to the little one. 'Nani' Soni Razdan wrote, "Oh happy day ! So much gratitude to life for this amazing wonderful blessing of a gift. Thank you all for your wishes of love. Our collective cup runneth over ♥♥♥"
Ranbir's elder sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote, "Our baby girl is here " Shaheen Bhatt penned a beautiful note. She wrote, "I may never stop weeping. Our little bean is finally here and life has forever changed. ♥"
Apart from them celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and many others wished Alia and Ranbir.
In an official statement, the couple wrote, "And in the best news of our lives:-Our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love-blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir (sic)."
