Digging out a picture from the archives, Neetu Kapoor marked the birth anniversary of her husband Rishi Kapoor. The veteran actress remembered him fondly by refreshing priceless memories. Today, she shared a throwback picture on Instagram.
In the picture, Rishi can be seen wearing oversized funky sunglass. Neetu went colourful by choosing a feathered accessory. Wearing the happiest smile on their faces, Neetu and Rishi were delightful in the picture. Sharing the picture, Neetu wrote, "Happy birthday "
Rishi passed away on April 30, 2020, after a long battle with leukaemia. He had shot for a film titled Sharmaji Namkeen. However, the film was left incomplete. Paresh Rawal stepped in to complete it. The film released on Amazon Prime Video on March 30, 2022.
After a long gap, Neetu returned to work. She headlined Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. The film released on June 24 and was successful at the box office.
