Mumbai Special Court directs NCB to return Aryan Khan’s passport in the cruise drugs case

A special court in Mumbai has directed Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to return the passport of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan after he received a clean chit in the last year’s drugs on cruise case. On Wednesday, the special court allowed a plea of Aryan seeking a return of his passport in the case.

Aryan had submitted his passport before the court as part of his bail conditions. He was arrested on October 3 last year in the high-profile drugs case and spent almost a month in jail. However, NCB failed to produce any substantial evidence against him and did not name him as an accused in the charge sheet filed in May, subsequently which he received a bail and was acquitted. The NCB let off Aryan Khan and five others due to "lack of sufficient evidence".

In response to his plea, the anti-drug agency also said that it has no objection on returning his passport.

The special court judge, VV Patil, directed NCB to return the youngster’s passport in the case.
