Akshay Kumar has proved time and again that he is the most viable star in Bollywood. The actor has already come out with two releases this year with Bachchhan Paandey and Samrat Prithviraj and is gearing up for his next in Raksha Bandhan. Akshay has a tremendous and ardent fan following due to which he has become the Most Popular Male Hindi Film Star of June 2022 as per a media consulting firm.
The media consulting firm who takes out rankings of celebs, films and shows put Akshay in the numero uno spot. He was also the sole Bollywood actor to make it to the Pan-India Most Popular Male Stars list released last month for the month of April 2022.

Akshay was followed by Shah Rukh Khan at No.2 and Salman Khan at No.3. Hrithik Roshan came in at No.4 and Aamir Khan bagged the No.5 position. Kartik Aaryan, who is basking in the success of his last release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was at No.6 followed by Ranbir Kapoor at No.7, Ranveer Singh at No.8, Varun Dhawan at No.9 and Ayushmann Khurrana at No.10.
Akshay’s upcoming film Raksha Bandhan is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 11. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and is directed by Aanand L Rai. He will also be seen in Ram Setu this year and is currently shooting for Capsule Gill. He also has Cinderella, OMG 2-Oh My God, Selfiee and Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru and Gorkha in the pipeline.
