Hours after the untimely demise of singer KK, the Kolkata Police registered a case of unnatural death. Shortly after his live performance in Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha, the singer reportedly complained of uneasiness. Early reports suggested that KK suffered a cardiac arrest. 

According to a media agency's report, doctors at a Kolkata hospital will conduct a post-mortem after seeking his family's permission. In a tweet, the agency mentioned, "One case of unnatural death has been registered with New Market PS regarding the death of singer #KK. After getting the family's consent, an inquest and post-mortem will be done. Arrangements are being made for the postmortem at SSKM hospital, Kolkata."
