The much-awaited picture of the month has just dropped in. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who embraced motherhood earlier this year, finally shared a picture with her daughter on the occasion of Mother's Day. Without revealing her face, the new mommy in town gave just a small glimpse of her baby girl.
Priyanka, in her post, revealed that her daughter, whom she called 'MM', was in the NICU for over 100 days before coming home to her parents. Sharing a beautiful family picture, the actress wrote, "On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home."
She further added, "Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you." In the picture, Priyanka's daughter can be seen dressed in a pastel-coloured frock and a hairband with a bow.
As per reports, Priyanka and Nick Jonas' daughter, born out of surrogacy, was 12 weeks premature. Reportedly, her name Malti Marie Chopra Jonas pays an ode to Priyanka and Nick's mothers respectively.
