As Robert Pattinson’s highly anticipated and awaited DC film The Batman nears its release date, makers are leaving no stone unturned in keeping the audience hooked to it. In their latest promotional stint, the makers dropped a surprise teaser trailer of the film during the NBA's All-Star weekend, on screens outside the stadium
The teaser was dropped in a thrilling manner amping up the excitement level with the announcer noticing a message from the Riddler (played by Paul Dano in the film) and projecting the Bat Signal on to the stadium and VFX showed Batman standing on the roof of the arena. The teaser showed several new scenes from the film with Pattinson soaring above the streets of Gotham in his caped crusader avatar. The teaser also showed Dano and Pattinson in hand-to-hand combat for the first time.

The teaser lit up the internet with fans noticing the Batman Animated Series reference with the way Batman appeared on the arena’s roof, which was strikingly similar to a shot in the title sequence of the 1992 animated series.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The film releases in theatres on March 4.
