Honouring the memories of late actor Rajiv Kapoor, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker along with Bhushan Kumar hosted an exclusive special screening of the veteran actor's last film Toolsidas Junior in Mumbai on Thursday. Rajiv Kapoor lost his battle to life with a cardiac arrest, on February 9, 2021. 

Marking a year to his unfortunate demise, the makers of Toolsidas Junior hosted a special screening for the Kapoor family attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Rima Jain, Kunal Kapoor along with producers Ashutosh and Sunita Gowariker, Bhushan Kumar and director Mridul.

Toolsidas Junior marks Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar's first joint production while the duo had previously collaborated for Swades, wherein T-Series partnered for the music. 

Starring the late actor Rajiv Kapoor along with Sanjay Dutt, Toolsidas Junior is an inspiring human sports drama produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series with  Ashutosh Gowariker & Sunita Gowariker's Ashutosh Gowariker Productions (AGPPL), and is written & directed by Mridul.
