Kunal Kapoor and wife Naina Bachchan have become proud parents to a baby boy. The actor took to social media to share an official statement about embracing parenthood with his wife. Naina is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan’s younger brother Ajitabh Bachchan and Ramola Bachchan. The couple were showered with well wishes from Amitabh’s daughter Shweta Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, Angad Bedi and other celebs.
Taking to Instagram, Kunal’s statement reads, “To all our well-wishers, Naina and I are overjoyed to share that we have become proud parents to a beautiful baby boy. We thank God for our abundant blessings.”
Commenting on the post, Shweta wrote, “Love you all,” while Hrithik wrote, “From hrithik machu,” along with heart emojis probably alluding to the fact that he will play the dual role of a chachu as well as mamu. Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne wrote, “bigggesttt congratulations kuns n nains.. u are gonna be incredible parents.” Angad wrote, “Wowwwww congratulations.”
On the work front, Kunal was last seen in the role of Mughal emperor Babur in the web series The Empire. He also appeared in the 2021 murder-mystery film Koi Jaane Na.
