Years of wait is finally over for all Brahmastra fans. Makers of the magnum opus starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan have finally released the first motion poster. It begins with Shiva aka Ranbir telling Isha aka Alia about experiencing some out-of-the-world power. Soon, Shiva is shown as the new rising hero of the 'astra-verse' with the most powerful weapon in the universe. We then get to see glimpses of his mystical powers and how Shiva is born for the greater good. The video ends with Ranbir standing atop a hill as he holds a trishul, complementing the magnificent Shiva image in the background.
The motion poster showcases the larger-than-life scale of the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Brahmastra revolves around Shiva (Ranbir) and his journey of discovering the great power within. This is the first time we see a superhero without any powerful costume. In denim jeans and white shirt - Ranbir stands strong in the motion poster and well, that's Shiva for you. The special effects in the 1 minute 14 seconds long motion poster is something never seen in Hindi cinema. Matching up to the Hollywood shiz, Brahmastra is a visual treat with high VFX and quality SFX. Some out there are even comparing it with Lord Of The Rings and who knows, Brahmastra might just set a new benchmark for mythological Indian films in Hindi cinema.
Brahmastra is said to be a power-packed franchise will more films rolling out in the future. The first part is titled Shiva. Bramhastra trilogy is the first of its kind in Astra-Verse cinematic universe. The film is a modern mythology and has been in the making for 10 years. Part 2 of the film is said to roll out in 2024.
Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures the magnum opus will release theatrically on 09.09.2022 in 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada with a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
