The wait is over for all Brahmastra fans. The motion poster of the film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan has finally been launched. Brahmastra is directed by Ayan and is backed by Karan Johar. The logo launch of the film happened in 2019 in Prayagraj and since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the film. 

Now, after launching an intriguing motion poster on Ranbir on Tuesday, the makers have released the motion poster of the film along with the release date. The first part of the film titled Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is all set to release on September 9, 2022. The motion poster begins with Shiva aka Ranbir telling Isha aka Alia about experiencing some out-of-the-world power. Soon, Shiva is shown as the new rising hero of the 'astra-verse' with the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Brahmastra revolves around Shiva (Ranbir) and his journey of discovering the great power within. Apart from Alia and Ranbir, the film also stars Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.

Produced by Dharma Productions, the film will release theatrically across 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
