The singer got married to her beau Farhan Shaikh in a secret ceremony on November 22 at home with family members and close friends in attendance. Now, as per reports, the newlyweds will be hosting a bash in Mumbai for their industry friends.
For the intimate wedding ceremony, Shalmali wore a peach-coloured saree and a white halter neck blouse. Farhan opted for a simple kurta. The couple twinned on the day of their wedding. Pictures from the ceremony went viral on social media and the couple's varmalas caught attention.
While Shalmali is a popular playback singer, Farhan is a mixing and mastering engineer. They kept their relationship under tight wraps. After a court marriage, a puja was held at home.
Shalmali is known for chartbuster songs like Pareshaan (Ishaqzaade), Daru Desi (Cocktail), Balam Pichkari (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) and Mohobbat Buri Beemari (Bombay Velvet). She has judged shows like Sur Nava Dhyas Nava (Marathi) and Indian Idol Junior.
