Actress and politician Nusrat Jahan gave glimpses of her Diwali celebrations with son Yishaan J Dasgupta and boyfriend, actor Yash Dasgupta. Taking to Instagram she shared pictures of herself posing with a lamp and decked up in a purple saree with gold embroidery. She also shared pictures of Yash and her son on Instagram stories where she twinned with them in purple.
Sharing the pictures, Nusrat wrote, “Happy Diwali,” with several earthen lamps and diyas arranged near her on the floor. The actress-politician wore sindoor on her forehead as well. This is the first time she shared a picture of her and Yash’s son Yishaan on social media.

In the Instagram stories, Nusrat shared a candid picture with Yash where both of them are looking fondly at each other and smiling. Yash wore a purple kurta and white pyjama. She wrote, “Happy Diwali from us..." In the next picture she can be seen holding Yishaan, who also wore a purple outfit.
Rumours of Nusrat’s and Yash’s wedding gained strength last month after the actress dropped pictures from his birthday party. She had shared a picture of the cake that had ‘dad’ and ‘husband’ written on it. Although they have not confirmed anything about nuptials, but in an interview with a leading daily, Nusrat had replied to a query on her son being born to unmarried parents and being out of wedlock. She had said, “Do people know whether or not it’s out of wedlock? Just because we don’t open up on things doesn’t mean whatever they are saying is true.
Earlier, Nusrat was married to businessman Nikhil Jain. However, in June this year, she issued a statement saying that as they got married in Turkey as per Turkish marriage regulations, their relationship was more of a live-in and not valid in India.
