Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Gurdaspur and actor Sunny Deol is celebrating his birthday today. He has turned 65. Known for his power-packed dialogue delivery in action films, Sunny enjoys a humongous fan following across the globe. On his birthday, fans showered love and good wishes on him through social media.
Making Sunny's birthday even more special, Bobby Deol picked up a rare picture to share on social media. Bobby wished his bhaiya Sunny with a picture that features their sisters Ajeeta and Vijeta. The siblings can be seen warmly hugging each other as they posed for the camera. Bobby's caption read, "Happy birthday bhaiya you mean the world to me (sic)"
Ajeeta and Vijeta chose not to make a career in Bollywood. Despite coming from a family of actors, they are rarely seen making public appearances. Sunny and Bobby's mother Prakash Kaur as well as the former's wife Pooja have stayed away from the spotlight. In an interview in 2013, Sunny clarified that women in the family weren't forced to stay away from the limelight and it was their decision to not make public appearances.
"Neither my mother nor my wife was forced to stay away from the limelight. My wife is her own person. She has always had the liberty to make her own decisions. To not make public appearances is her own call. Like I said, neither my father (Dharmendra) nor I have forced the women in our family to follow our rules," Sunny told in the interview.
