Nusrat Jahan, a Bengali actress and Trinamool Congress MP, is in news for her relationship with actor Yash Dasgupta. Nusrat welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Yishaan, on August 26 in Kolkata. Yash was with her throughout and this added fuel to the rumour. The child was welcomed a few months after Nusrat declared her marriage with Nikhil Jain 'invalid'.
Since then, people have been curious to know the name of the child's father. While Nusrat is yet to break her silence on this, Kolkata Municipal Corporation's document has given out some details. As per the document, Nusrat's child has been Yishaan J Dasgupta. The name of the father on the document is Debashish Dasgupta. If reports are to be believed, Debashish is the official name of Yash.
Recently, Nusrat attended the opening of a salon in Kolkata. During media interaction, a reporter apparently questioned her about her ‘better half’. Dodging the question, the actress and MP said, "I think that’s a vague question to ask and puts a black spot on somebody’s character as a woman, who the father is. The father knows who the father is and we are having a great parenthood together at the moment. Myself and Yash, we are having a good time."
Nusrat tied the knot with businessman Nikhil in 2019. Within 2 years of marriage, they parted ways stating that their marriage is invalid. She told in a statement that an interfaith marriage in India has to be registered under the Special Marriage Act but the couple never got it done. For quite some time, rumours of Nusrat and Yash's relationship have been doing the rounds.
