Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Lara Dutta have been friends for the last 21 years. In May 2000, they were crowned as Miss World and Miss Universe along with Dia Mirza who became Miss Asia. Lara made her acting debut in 2003 with the film titled Andaaz co-starring Priyanka and Akshay Kumar. They went on to star in Don too.
Recently, Priyanka and Lara reunited in London. The former shared a picture on social media. Lara was with her daughter Saira. Sharing the picture, Priyanka wrote, "21 years and counting.. friendships that can pick up at any given time… @larabhupathi and her most shining star. Saira you’re definitely your mums daughter. Adore you. So much love for these ladies. And so many memories. Also Missed you #Pradeepguha (sic)"
Dia commented, "So glad you girls met (sic)"
Workwise, Lara was last seen as Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Akshay's BellBottom. Priyanka is currently shooting for Citadel in London.
