Tips released its new-age version of Kumar Sanu’s hit 90s track Is Tarah Aashiqui Ka today featuring Siddharth S Gupta and Zaara Yesmin. The song is a recreated version from the film Imtihan that starred Saif Ali Khan, Raveena Tandon and Sunny Deol in the lead.
The recreated version of Is Tarah Ka Aashiqui Ka has been sung by Dev Negi and has been composed by Chirantann Bhatt while the lyrics have been penned by Manoj Yadav. If you think the modern version can even think of holding a candle to the original track, then think again as it falls flat in all departments. Except the main line the song is entirely new and fails to continue with the rhythm and music.

Siddharth and Zaara try hard to create some chemistry on screen but the track just does not give them any leeway to make a mark. Their stony expressions also do not do much for the supposed love ballad that was sung by Kumar Sanu, composed by Anu Malik and lyrics by Faiz Anwar in the original film.
