Popular Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni's father Manohar Kulkarni sustained a knife injury after a man barged into their residence in Pimpri Chinchwad. According to the police, the incident took place on Tuesday morning when a 24-year-old man entered their house by climbing up a pipe and using the terrace.
As per a leading daily's report, the accused carried a toy gun and a knife with him. When Mr. Kulkarni tried to nab him, he sustained an injury. Due to the scuffle, the neighbours gathered to catch the accused and handed him over to the police. Reportedly, the cops have detained the 24-year-old who claims to be Sonalee's fan. The real motive behind the trespassing is yet to be revealed.
Sonalee is currently in Dubai and recently tied the knot with her fiance Kunal Benodekar. Talking to a daily, the actress said, "We don't know the trespasser's motive yet. Whether he was a fan or not. I am worried now and not in a condition to talk to anybody. I hope everyone will understand." When PeepingMoon reached out to Sonalee, she said the situation is now under control.
Sonalee, who is a popular face in the Marathi entertainment industry, was seen in Hindi films like Grand Masti and Singham Returns.
