‘Awkward, embarrassed yet delighted,’ says Salman Khan as he shares news of his painting being displayed alongside Raja Ravi Varma’s and Abanindranath Tagore’s at Bengaluru

Salman Khan is well-known to have an artistic bent of mind and often indulges in giving flight to his imagination of canvas. Now, the actor’s painting will be displayed at an art exhibition in Bengaluru. The painting will be displayed alongside the work of great artists like Abanindranath Tagore, Raja Ravi Varma, Nandalal Bose, Ramkinkar Baij and VS Gaitonde.

Salman took to Instagram to share the exciting news. He captioned the post, “Awkward embarrassed n yet delighted, honoured, privileged n over the moon to display my work amongst such great artist n legends like Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindranath Tagore, & VS Gaitonde. In all humility thank u for the honour! @sgmf2020 @googleartsculture @agpworld #AGPWorld.”

The actor’s painting Immortal will be displayed at the exhibition. The painting is based on Mother Teresa and is signed by Salman. The exhibition also includes works by modern day artists who have participated in the Kochi Muziris Biennale. The exhibition will be displayed from Febuary 27 to March 10, 2021.
