Sunny Singh joins Prabhas’ ‘Adipurush’; director Om Raut welcomes him on the sets with a handwritten note

The star cast of Prabhas’ Adipurush is getting interesting day-by-day. After roping in Saif Ali Khan to play the role of Ravana, the makers have got Sunny Singh onboard the film. The film is directed by Om Raut and he sent a handwritten note to welcome Sunny on the film set along with flowers.

Sunny took to his Instagram stories to share Om’s special note for him as he commenced shooting for the big-budget 3D film in which Prabhas essays the role of Lord Ram. Sunny shared the note on his story which read, "Dear Sunny, Thank you again for being there ...First day of our new journey together. God willing many more such. Luv, Om (sic)."

Sunny shared the post on his story and thanked Om Raut for his message. He wrote, "Thank you @omraut (sic)," with a heart and folded-hands emoji. Although it is not confirmed, but according to reports Sunny is playing the role of Laxman in the film. An official announcement on the same is yet to be made.

Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayan and is high on VFX. It is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 400 crore and will release on August 11, 2022, in multiple languages.
