Making his big-screen debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Tuesdays and Fridays, Poonam Dhillon's son Anmol Thakeria Dhillon opts for a quirky and unconventional film. Releasing the trailer of his first film, Anmol offered an insight into the contemporary love story with his upcoming rom-com featuring beauty queen Jhataleka Malhotra who was a Miss International participant in 2014.
Based on the unconventional concept of dating with terms and conditions, Anmol's character offers a whirlwind of emotions depicting the ups and downs of a relationship with a tinge of comedy. Slipping into the role of a millennial caught in the emotions of love, Anmol seems promising in his debut.
Tuesdays And Fridays is believed to be unlike any other Bhansali film. It’s not a historical or tragedy backed by grand sets and splendid costumes as most of his films have been. It’s a colorful and happy romcom that people would want to watch in these dark times.
Renowned singer and composer Tony Kakkar has composed six soulful tracks featuring the leads and other cast members including Niki Walia, Zoa Morani, Parvin Dabas, Kamini Khanna, Anuradha Patel, Ashim Gulati and Parmeet Sethi. The film is all set to release on February 19, 2021, in cinemas.
