John Abraham is all set to evoke patriotism in the hearts of Indians with his upcoming action-thriller, Satyameva Jayate 2. A sequel to the 2018 film, John will tackle the ills of society with Divya Khosla Kumar as his leading lady. The actor is expected to play a triple role in the Milap Zaveri directorial. Now, on the occasion of Republic Day, the team of Satyameva Jayate 2 announced the film's wrap.
John, on his Instagram handle, shared a new still. The actor is seen waving the Indian flag. The picture seems to be clicked at a river ghat. Satyameva Jayate is primarily shot in Lucknow. "TANN MANN DHANN, se Badhkar JANN GANN MANN! The team of #SatyamevaJayate2 wishes everyone a Happy Republic Day! See you in cinemas this EID on 14th May 2021," John wrote.
Satyamev Jayate franchise's first film released in 2018 and featured John with Manoj Bajpayee. The film revolved around a vigilante who goes on a corrupt cop-killing spree. Satyameva Jayate 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar of T-Series, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment.
