The New Year has brought in renewed energy in our Bollywood celebs that are raring to return to sets for their films. From Sonam Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Richa Chadha to Sonu Sood here are a glimpse of what these stars are up to with their new projects.
Sonam Kapoor trained by a blind coach for ‘Blind’
Sonam Kapoor will soon be seen essaying the lead role in Shome Makhija’s directorial Blind that is being produced by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is a remake of the South Korean thriller of the same name. Talking about Sonam’s prep for the role, Sujoy told a daily, “It's a challenging role but Sonam is doing it well; Shome has been working with her diligently. She has worked hard with a coach hired by us, to understand the nuances of playing blind.” He revealed that the coach was visually impaired as well. Sonam is shooting for Blind in a start-to-end schedule in Glasgow, UK. The film also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli, Lillete Dubey.
Hrithik Roshan reports back on the sets
Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram handle to treat his fans with a stunning picture of himself, as he announced his return to the sets. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Back on set.” In the picture the actor can be seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt teamed with a grey coat. The actor did not reveal the project he was working on. Meanwhile, he is reported to team up with Saif Ali Khan for the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil superhit film Vikram Vedha.

Richa Chadha shared the first look poster of her new film Madam Chief Minister. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, Madam Chief Minister is a political drama about an untouchable and also features Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla. In the first look poster, Richa Chadha can be seen sporting a never seen before look - short hair, intense expression with bruises on her face and holding a broom in her hand. The film will hit theatres on January 22.
Sonu Sood to play lead in E Niwas’ next ‘Kisaan’

Sonu Sood will soon be returning to silver screens in E Niwas’ Kisaan. Writer-director Raaj Shaandilyaa will be producing the film. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to announce the news. Sharing a photo of Sonu Sood with E Niwas and Raaj Shaandilyaa, Adarsh wrote, "IT’S OFFICIAL... SONU SOOD IN #KISAAN... #SonuSood will head the cast of #Kisaan... Directed by E Niwas... Raaj Shaandilyaa - who made his directorial debut with #DreamGirl - will produce the film... Balance cast will be announced shortly (sic)."
