Sooraj Pancholi has filed a police complaint at the Versova Police Station against some media houses that have been carrying unverified and false news linking him to Disha Salian’s and Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
In his seven-page complaint, Sooraj alleged mental harassment by media houses that circulated fake news against him without any evidence. He has mentioned name of certain media houses and YouTubers who have been spreading fake news and conspiracy theories on social media against him.
In his statement, Sooraj mentioned that the way media is circulating fake news shows their behaviour that appear to be disturbing, upsetting and threatening. He suspects it is an agenda by an actress who has filed a fake complaint against his father, Aditya Pancholi. Sooraj further stated that he never met Disha Salian and conspiracy theories interlinking the two deaths and connecting him is totally baseless.
A party picture of Sooraj with his friends went viral on social media recently. It is being referred as the fateful party of Disha’s. However, Sooraj said that he is being threatened on account of this photograph and is receiving threats on phone and social media. Sooraj has come forward and clarified in a social media post that the picture in question is from a party he attended in 2016 and the girl in question is his friend Anushri Gaur.
