Sonam Kapoor has been teasing us with her husband Anand Ahuja’s favourite things all this week in a prelude to his birthday today. After celebrating his birthday week she pulled out all the stops to make Anand’s birthday extra special. She took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt birthday wish for him.
Sharing a picture with Anand, Sonam wrote, “Happy happy 35th birthday my love.. you’re my guiding light in everything. Your childlike enthusiasm and age old wisdom is the most lethal combination of what a man should be. I love you the most in the whole world. Everyone says they are lost before they find the one. But I only found you once I knew who I was and found my self. And to answer your question , yes you can organise great birthday meals as well. Case in point my first birthday I celebrated with you. That was the best birthday I’d ever had till then and each year gets better. Love you monkey, you make #everydayphenomenal @anandahuja.”
Anand shared a glimpse of the awesome birthday bash Sonam had organized for him. Apparently, keeping to the lockdown and social distancing, Sonam had organized a fancy outdoor picnic for him coupled with balloons, cosy cushions and a table decked with lots of flowers. Sharing a picture from the picnic, he wrote, “Happening Right Now: my birthday gifts- @sonamkapoor & this “simple” outdoor picnic she organized #everydayphenomenal #shotoniphoneSE.”
Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor also wished the birthday boy. Sharing quite a few pictures, he wrote, “You may not have been born into our family but you seem to be born to be a part of it!! Happy Birthday @anandahuja! It takes a thousand prayers & a million acts of kindness to get blessed with a son-in-law like you and we are extremely proud of you!

Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor also wished Anand on his birthday. She shared a small video on her Instagram story with a rotating halo of ice-cream and basketball emojis. Rhea wished Anand and said, “Happy Birthday Huj, we love you.”
Sonam and Anand walked down the aisle in May 2018. Their wedding and receptions were attended by almost the entire Bollywood.
