Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, celebrated her 35th birthday today (June 9) with joy, fervour and enthusiasm. The pretty actress travelled to Mumbai from Delhi ahead of her special day to be with her parents Anil Kapoor-Sunita Kapoor and siblings Rhea Kapoor-Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. As the clock struck midnight, fans and family members showered love on Sonam through social media posts to make her day special. The actress's father Anil was amongst the first to share his birthday wish for his darling daughter.
Anil, on Instagram, shared multiple pictures of Sonam and called her the most 'generous-hearted soul'. The actor joked that he is shit scared of her. Addressing her as masterchef, Anil showered love on Sonam. "To a daughter like no other, the perfect partner to @anandahuja, a star on screen and an icon with an unimitable style. She's my confidant, my joy, my pride, the most generous hearted soul I know, (the only person I am shit scared of) & now a bona fide master chef! Happy Birthday, @sonamkapoor! I’m so happy that you’re here with all of us today! Love You, Always!" Anil wrote.
Sonam's cousin Arjun Kapoor shared a throwback picture with her and wrote, "Happy birthday @sonamkapoor !!! Miss the good old days where we hugged without a care in the world... but always know hugs or no hugs I got ur back...."
Maheep Kapoor, wife of Sonam's uncle Sanjay Kapoor shared a picture wishing her niece. "Happy birthday my darling @sonamkapoor we love you loads," she wrote while sharing throwback pictures of the actress. Sanjay also posted a picture with Sonam on his Instagram stories.
Maheep's and Sanjay's daughter Shanaya Kapoor wished her cousin Sonam on Instagram too.
Sonam's uncle Boney Kapoor tweeted, "Happy Birthday Beta, may god bless you with happiness - today and always. @sonamakapoor" as he shared a throwback picture.
