'We spoke on the phone and exchanged wishes,' says Salim Khan on celebrating Eid without son Salman Khan in Mumbai

The entire country yesterday soaked into the festive vibes of Eid. The celebration, however, was low-key, thanks to the ongoing nationwide lockdown for the last two months. While several celebrities spent the day with their families with sumptuous food, positivity and togetherness, Salman Khan couldn't be home to bring in the festival with his near-dear ones. The superstar who is currently stuck in Panvel ever since the lockdown was announced in March, brought in Eid with his industry friends at the farmhouse. Salman's parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan along with his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail are in Mumbai. Talking to a leading daily about celebrating Eid without Salman, Salim told that the two spoke over a phone call and exchanged wishes.

"He has been spending a lot of time there. I just spoke with him today on the phone and we exchanged wishes. We are always in touch with each other through our regular phone calls," Salim told.

The veteran writer further added that Eid celebration at home was low-key and everyone followed their routine. "I followed my regular routine. I woke up early and went out for my morning walk. I came back and did things that I do on a normal day," Salim added.

Salman, who was to release his Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai on May 22, had to push ahead its release owing to pending work and lockdown. The new release date of the film starring Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda is yet to be announced. Keeping up with his Eid trend, Salman surprised his fans with his original song Bhai Bhai shot at his Panvel farmhouse.
