The world celebrated Mother's Day yesterday by showering love, respect and gratitude towards their mothers. Be it planning a sweet surprise for them or recalling precious moments spent with them, it was a day of all things endearing. B-Town celebrities too left no stone unturned to make their moms feel special. Joining others was Irrfan's elder son Babil Khan. Babil, today, that is a day after Mother's Day, showered love on his mother Sutapa Sikdar.
Babil, on Instagram, shared a sweet picture with Sutapa. In another image, we can see the two posing with Irrfan during their family vacation outside India. "Long live the queen. Extended Mother’s Day," wrote Babil.
Babil, soon after Irrfan's death on April 29, shared a note for all the family's well-wishers on Instagram. I’m deeply grateful for all the condolences you beautiful friends are pouring in for me. Although I hope you understand that right now I’m not being able to reply because my vocabulary is dizzy. I will get back to each one of you but just not right now. Thank you so much. I love you," he wrote.
Irrfan breathed his last after battling a neuroendocrine tumor for two years. He was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital for a colon infection and passed away days after his mother Saeeda Begum. Apart from Babil, Irrfan and Sutapa are parents to Ayaan Khan.
