Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has shared two black-and-white pictures on her Instagram stories on Thursday. Rishi breathed his last on April 30 after battling cancer for two years.
The photos that Riddhima has shared are extremely special as it shows Rishi with his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor and with wife Neetu Kapoor on their wedding day. Rishi and Krishna Raj Kapoor can be seen dancing in the throwback picture. Riddhima captioned it, “Reunited with his favourite person.”
On the other hand, the wedding picture shows Neetu and Rishi happily smiling and looking at someone during the wedding party. Neetu is seen wearing a heavily embellished sari with a pallu over her head paired with bridal jewelry including a mangtika and nose ring, while Rishi is dressed in a suit and looks quite dapper.
Riddhima could not reach Mumbai in time for Rishi’s funeral on Thursday due to the lockdown. However, she got special permission to travel by car with husband Bharat Sahni and daughter Samara from Delhi to Mumbai.
Rishi’s funeral was attended by his family members including elder brother Randhir Kapoor, sister Rima Jain, niece Kareena Kapoor Khan with husband Saif Ali Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Ambani and Alia Bhatt. Ranbir Kapoor later immersed the ashes of the veteran actor at Banganga with mother Neetu, Ayan Mukerji and Alia.
