One of Bollywood's finest actors Irrfan is no more. He was just 54. The film industry on Wednesday took to social media to express sorrow as well as disbelief, and to express condolence to the bereaved family and to pray for his soul.
In what has become his last message to his fans, the actor, who wrapped up Angrezi Medium after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, unveiled the first look from the film. The video, which had Irrfan's voiceover, featured some BTS pictures and snippets from the shoot. It began with Irrfan claiming that the film is extremely special for him, adding that he wished to promote the film with as much love but the 'unwanted' guests in his body didn't permit him to. Further talking about his illness, he claimed that there is no way out than to remain positive and says that it is the same positivity with which the film has been made. He further hoped that the film will make the audience cry and laugh both. He signed off by saying, "Enjoy the trailer, be kind to everyone and watch the film."
To utter sadness, at the end of the video, Irrfan urged his fans, "wait for me," and while all of us were doing the same, the powerhouse of talent left us for the heavenly abode.
