Acclaimed actor Irrfan’s deteriorating health has sent shockwaves in the industry as well as in the hearts of his fans. He has been admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai and his wife Sutapa Sikdar and younger son is with him.
Now in a fresh update, the actor’s spokesperson said, “Yes it is true that Irrfan khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a colon infection. We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation. His strength and courage have helped him battle and fight so far and we are sure with his tremendous willpower and prayers of all his well-wishers, he will recover soon”.
In 2018, he was diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine tumour for which he took treatment in a London hospital. A couple of days back his mother Saeeda Begum breathed her last at the age of 82 years. Irrfan could not attend the funeral due to a nationwide lockdown and could not travel to Jaipur.
