Bollywood quintessential hero and the ruler of millions of hearts, Varun Dhawan celebrated his birthday today (April 24). The actor who turned 33 had a rather intimate celebration instead of a lavish one. Due to the Coronavirus Lockdown, Varun brought in his birthday at his residence with his family. To mark the occasion, a heart-shaped cake was baked and it seems the chocolatey goodness was homemade.
Varun, on his Instagram stories, shared pictures from his birthday celebration at midnight. The actor, posing in front of a candle-lit cake, is seen flashing his happiest smile. Dressed in a black shirt and blue denim, Varun kept it smart yet casual.
Amid the Coronavirus Lockdown, Varun will be hosting his virtual birthday party on Instagram. Scheduled at 4 pm today, the actor's fans will get a unique chance to be a part of the celebration exclusively.
Workwise, Varun is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. The David Dhawan directorial was scheduled to open at theatres on May 1. However, since the lockdown is likely to be lifted on May 3, the film is pushed ahead. An official announcement on the new release date is yet to be made. Apart from that, Varun will begin shooting for Sriram Raghavan's next that is the biopic of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film is reportedly titled Ekkees. As per reports, Varun has been approached for the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay. Also, he is reportedly in talks with Sajid Nadiadwala, Amar Kaushik and Karan Johar for future projects.
