Asim Riaz, the first runner-up of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 13 is the hottest gossip in B-Town currently. The young Kashmiri model shot to fame on the show and accounted for a huge fan base with his stint. Now, Asim who has been making the right amount of noise for his rumoured ventures, has taken a step ahead to sign his first project post Bigg Boss 13 came to an end on February 15, 2020. He will be starring with Jacqueline Fernandez in a music album bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series. Talking to a leading daily about the project, Jacqueline told that it is a peppy track teamed with an engaging story. Choreographed by Shabina Khan, the song will incorporate a mix of desi dance steps and modern moves too. The confirmation came hours after Jacqueline shared an Instagram story with Asim from the rehearsals.
“It has been turned into a peppy track through which we will be narrating an engaging story. Shabina Khan, who is choreographing it, has given me some desi steps and traditional moves but at the same time it will be modern, too. Shabina has been helping me perfect my moves and expressions. We have been rehearsing diligently to get every nuance right and I’m really looking forward to working with Asim for the first time. It’s a passion project for me,” Jacqueline told.
The producer of the music video, Bhushan, in an interview with the daily, told Tanishk Bagchi has composed the music and has added a modern flavour to a folk song. “It is a traditional folk song but Tanishk has modernised it, giving it his own unique twist. I have always enjoyed folk songs and want the younger generations to get familiar with them," Bhushan added.
The song is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. Neha Kakkar has lent her vocals. The song will be shot in Mumbai next month and will release on March 7, 2020.
