Watch: Chris Hemsworth aces Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic ‘DDLJ’ dialogue on the sets of his Netflix film ‘Extraction’

There is no denying the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s and Kajol’s film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is a cult film. Recently, US President Donald Trump mentioned the film in his speech at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad and even said that Shah Rukh Khan is a global phenomenon. Now, Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth has mouthed a famous dialogue from SRK’s film.

A video went viral on social media where we get to see and hear Chris on the sets of his upcoming Netflix film Extraction. The video was shared by Chris’s co-star from the film Rudhraksh Jaiswal. Chris is seen mouthing the dialogue, "Bade bade desho mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai” from DDLJ. He even compliments himself and says, “Fluent! It’s better than my Spanish,”after acing the Hindi dialogue.

Extraction features Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a fearless black market mercenary when he is recruited to rescue the kidnapped son (Jaiswal) of an imprisoned international crime lord. As Rake tries to extract the boy, he develops a close bond with him which offers him a chance at redemption.

His first look from the film was released recently where he looked ruggedly handsome. Extraction is produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo through their AGBO banner along with Chris, Mike Larocca, and Eric Gitter. The film marks the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave, who previously worked with Chris as a stunt coordinator and second unit director on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Extraction is scheduled to premiere on 24 April on Netflix.
