After impressing the audience with his act in Kabir Singh and Good Newws, Kiara Advani is gearing up for a film with filmmaker Karan Johar titled Guilty in which she is all "hipster and forceful". Karan, who had earlier worked with Kiara for a segment in the Netflix anthology film Lust Stories, took to his social media on Monday to share the first look of the actress.
Sharing an image of Kiara on Instagram, KJo wrote, "@kiaraaliaadvani...a raw poetic playlist and a mystery - aap convince ho gaye ya aur bataun? #Guilty trailer out tomorrow" The poster features her in a hipster mode as she adorns a nose ring apart from donning coloured hair in curls. The other characters of the film also feature in the poster.
He even shared that the trailer of the film, which will stream on Netflix, will be out tomorrow. It is produced by Karan's Dharmatic.
Directed by Ruchi Narain, Guilty explores the different versions of truth that emerge when a small-town girl accuses the college heartthrob of rape. Seen through the eyes of his musician girlfriend, this story makes us question who is truly guilty in such circumstances. The film is scheduled to release later this year.
Kiara has an impressive line-up of films which includes - Laxmmi Bomb, Shershaah and Indoo Ki Jawani.
