‘Channa Ve’ song from 'Bhoot Part One-The Haunted Ship' shows Vicky Kaushal’s and Bhumi Pednekar’s blissful married life torn apart by death

After dropping a spooky and hair-raising trailer of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, the makers of the film are out with the first song from the film. Titled Channa Ve, the song was released online by Karan Johar who is producing the film. The song features Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar and is an ode to their love story in the film.

Channa Ve is the only song in the film and shows Vicky remembering his wife Bhumi and daughter as he searches for something in his house. The song is in the flashback mode and indicates that Bhumi is no more. Vicky manages to portray his loss and grief through the song and as he gives in to tears holding his daughter’s toys and remembers Bhumi, our heart also wells up with his anguish.

Channa Ve is sung by Akhil Sachdeva and Mansheel Gujral. The music has been composed by Akhil Sachdeva and he has also penned the lyrics of the soulful track. The song portrays Vicky’s and Bhumi’s love story and the happy life that they were leading before death tore their world apart.

Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The film is slated to release on February 21, 2020.
