Vijay Deverakonda is back in his Arjun Reddy avatar playing a jilted lover in his upcoming film World Famous Lover whose teaser trailer dropped today. The film is directed by Kranthi Madhav and has four female leads including Aishwarya Rajesh, Izabelle Leite, Catherine Tresa and Raashi Khanna. Vijay is seen in four different avatars in the teaser.
The teaser which is a little over a minute, sees Vijay playing the role of a coal mine worker as well as an angry young man who has been dumped by his ladylove. The teaser is full of emotion, angst, love, heartbreak and sadness. However, unlike the title of the film the teaser does not give an indication of a happy-ending as we see Vijay displaying his uncontrollable rage.
Vijay romances four different leading ladies and all the four episodes look different from each other. In the teaser trailer, the heroines speak about sacrifice, compromise and divinity in love. Aishwarya Rajesh seems to be playing the role of a housewife and it is reported that they are proud parents to an eight-year-old in the film. Izabelle Leite seems to be working with an airline agency as a pilot.
Bankrolled by KA Vallabha under the banner of Creative Commercials, World Famous Lover has music by Gopi Sundar, who had collaborated with Vijay for Geetha Govindam in 2018. The film has cinematography by Jayakrishna Gummadi. It is slated to release on February 14.
