Kangana Ranaut, during the launch of the trailer of her upcoming film Panga, spoke about the ongoing protest by students of Delhi's Jamia Milia Islamia against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Talking about the same, the actress said nobody in the country has the right to burn buses and harm public property as they indirectly cost a lot to the economy. She further stated that in a country where several citizens are suffering from malnutrition, creating a ruckus will not be of any good to the financial and social status.
Continuing, Kangana said that she believes that we are living in a pre-independence era where protesting, going on strikes, etc was a common and cool activity.

Speaking of CAA, the act received enough flak from the citizens of the country. So much so, students of colleges came together for a protest which took an ugly turn when Police had to intervene with means of violence. Soon after, several celebrities voiced out their anger with respect to the ongoing scenario.
